    Welcome to the Hooker Tea Company website! We are located in the downtown Saint Petersburg area and offer over 100 varieties of premium loose tea from around the world. Once you visit, you will see that the atmosphere in our store is very relaxing and scenic. Our staff is friendly and our customer service is excellent. Tea is the new coffee and we'll get you hooked! We also offer free WiFi for laptop users.

Hooker Tea 101

Next to water, tea is the most popular beverage in the world. True “tea” is made from one lovely, gorgeous and practically perfect plant, Camellia Sinensis. What differentiates one type of tea from another is how the leaf is processed. The five types of tea are: White, Green, Black, Oolong, and Pu-erh. Herbal blends, also known as tisanes, do not come from the Camellia Sinensis plant and therefore, technically aren’t tea.
